Who says you have to win an Oscar, publish a novel or record a platinum album to formally thank those who've helped you along the way? We at Cabell's feel it's important to thank those who have been an integral part in growing, managing and sustaining our business. So at the risk of sounding like we think we are a bigger deal than we actually are.here come the thank yours.

Get ready- this list is extensive!

From Cabell

Thank you, to my husband, Sweeney for believing in me and this dream more than I ever have. You have been the very face of Christ to me. I love you.

Thank you, Susan for your partnership but more importantly your friendship, for laughing and crying with me through the growing pains, for believing in me more than I believe in myself, and for taking this huge leap of faith.

Thank you, Mom (known to others as Parke) for showing me that hand-made gifts are always more special. For inspiring me to always be creative, for giving me my first pieces of bisque. For all of the words of encouragement I needed to create just about anything. And for the generous checks when the all the creativity in the world couldn't pay the bills!

Thank you, Daddio (known to others as Gus) for the endless hours of business advice, the trips from Tennessee to Atlanta and the patience with your daughter whose Early Childhood degree didn’t equip her with the ability to read P&L's. I'm glad one of us got an MBA from a prestigious business school!

Thank you, Nike for always saying you are proud of me and for all the free printing! Shameless plug coming now. www.pmtwo.com

Thank you, Laurie for being willing to do anything from press kits to polka dots. I am grateful for the talent you brought to the team and the fun you bring to a room! More cowbell.

Thank you, Pat and Emerine for always telling me that you are proud of me, dog sitting during lots of out of town business trips and making pottery deliveries on your way back to Montgomery. Oh, and for doing an amazing job of raising the man I love.

Thank you, Caroleeta for the endless, underpaid hours, for all the late night advice and all the tears you dried. Thank you for your friendship.

Thank you, Mimi for being the voice of love and reason in my life. You remind me it is always more about love, less about pottery.

Thank you, Morgaine for your friendship, talent, hours and hours of painting, for your patience with me as I tried to figure out how to be a boss . And your belief in and passion for our little company.

Thank you, Todd for your friendship, advice and words of encouragement. For being the “numbers guy” and always challenging me to give more- in every area of my life.

Thank you, Dana for having the best attitude about the worst jobs! For your hard work, commitment, stamping and tracing until your fingers bled and your rockin' organizational skills! The dancing isn't bad either!

Thank you, Michelle for the hours you gave to pin and iron and hot glue to get ready for our "grand opening!" For loving my brother and for the three most adorable nieces ever!

Thank you, Vicki for early morning chats, for your business advice and encouragement.

Thank you, Teresa for the hundreds of boxes you packed, the trips to UPS, and the late, late nights- all with the most positive attitude I've ever encountered. And for having an amazing ability to always "keep it real".

Thank you, Vernon, the Verndiggity, Digs. for the hours you spent on the bus between Roswell and downtown, for your patience as I figured out how to be a boss, for teaching me what commitment looks like and for more stories to tell my grandchildren than one person should be able to provide...a chocolate bust of your head?

Thank you, Megan for trading murals in your kid's rooms for stacks and stacks of pottery to paint, and for providing the studio with stories that made us laugh and blush at the same time!

Thank you, Ashley for the long nights of "quality time" spent next to me at the painting table or glazing on the kitchen counter.

Thank you to Anna C.'s Mom (Michelle) for talking me into setting up a booth at the Cotton Pickin' Fair.

Thank you, Corrie for being our first real employee who was most definitely overworked and underpaid but remains one of our biggest cheerleaders!

Thank you, Jeanette for your help making that crucial deadline before Beyond Malibu and the comic relief of the dog voice on hard days. And the stamping, oh, the stamping!

Thank you, Pam and Jan for your encouragement and holding your tongues when you could have so easily said, "Cabell, grow up!" Wait, maybe you did say that!

Thank you, Nats for always "checking in", the help glazing, hemming and for being another "proud Mom" in my life.

Thank you, Berta for turning the kiln from medium to high more times than I should have asked and for being one of my first real-live customers.

Thank you, Allen who has shown me life is too short to not follow a dream even if it seems a little crazy.

From Susan

Thanks to my husband Todd for supporting me with wisdom, business sense that I forgot from school and you remembered, coffee and snacks in the late nights, and for never once asking me "now, why are you doing this again?" Love you much.

Thanks to my sweet Hannah and Zachary who spent more hours at the studio than any 4 or 6 year old should ever have to.

Thank you Cabell, for seeing what could be and going for it! And for letting me be a part of the ride. I am forever changed for it. Love you!

Thank you Sweeney for the bottom line comments at 2 in the morning. We will always need your wisdom and one liners.

Thank you Missy for painting, and painting, and painting, and painting, and painting, for much less than you are worth.

Thank you, Caroleeta, first for your incredible work ethic and never ending dedication. And second for your motherly advice to me along the way. I still use it and need it!

Thank you Laurie for the laughs, the insights and the incredible talent you bring to the table. I could not have hoped for someone more gifted. Who knew?

Thank you to my mom and sisters who are my greatest fans. Thanks for always making me feel like this is the coolest thing in the world. I could not ask for a better family than you.
